Sustainability Resilience	Sustainable forestry within IDS is closely related to the concept of sustainable development and is a reaction to Hardin’s tragedy of the commons. Sustainability from this view = having enough natural resources for current and future generations.	Deforestation has become a major problem from the twentieth century onwards. Multinational companies as well as local farmers destroy forests for timber and agricultural land. The forests cannot keep up with the pace of deforestation, and are therefore slowly disappearing.
